Sunroof creaking/rattle?
Hi all - does anyone on their CLE 53 (non cab) notice any kind of rattle/creak noise when going over very rough roads from the roof/panorama control area?

I've noticed there is this kind of weird creaking sound but goes away when I vent (slightly open) the sunroof.

Wanted to check if it was just me.

That does sound annoying did you isolate which part of it is the sound coming from yet?

yes, I am waiting for the colder weather to pass to rule out temperature impact. I am located in Massachusetts. I believe the sound is originating from the overhead console / light housing.

No I am not sure what part of it is..it must be the seals with the glass because if I lift up the sunroof just a bit the noise stops.

I'd imagine it would be more pronounced in hotter weather?

I’d hate to think it would be a similar cause but look up panoramic roof bolt and Loctite. It’s pretty easy to get there and spin the nuts. There should not be any creaks and weather should not be a factor.
