Battery Tender

I can see where the battery terminal is for a jump or access, however wondered if anyone has installed anything related to being on a tender (or charger for the super old school peeps) for a longer period of time to keep the battery up to snuff. I think, as I haven't really researched this entirely, the battery is in a bit of a tougher spot to access (trunk?) and might not be viable for this without tearing things apart.

On our previous 2 911s, the battery was up front and in a perfect spot to wire it up and send the line up under the dash near the windshield. I am still wondering how to do this and will figure it out on the CLE53.

I believe there's a cigarette lighter socket on the passenger side below the glovebox or somewhere around there.

Thanks everyone for the input...things to think about as at the week progresses.

Agreed, that is what they "told" you with the 911, however I had mine hardwired to the battery and will figure out how to do it with the CLE, as soon as I get the time to piddle with it. I never did try the cigarette lighter route and heard mixed results on Rennlist.
Agree here as well. I haven't looked into the cigarette lighter switching on this yet.
