Well I guess according to the site it's finally done!

We've all been waiting, let's see some pics of this beast!

I want to see it at the track so I can give it a thumbs up!

Read all about it!

I saw that on their website a while ago. Sleestack used to be all over the board about his CLK was being hooked up. I think he would have posted pictures if the car was completely done. Maybe they only got the engine working?

All I know is on e46fanatics.com (more directly chromem3.com) some guy put together a chrome 600HP M3, much quicker than this project has been goin on.

The motor on "Mentalm3's" M3 wasn't a one off custom spec hand built motor... they just used the RMS S/C kit. Sleestack's CLK motor is one of a kind with custom ordered parts... not to mention all the other things they're doing to the car. A lot of the time that has dragged the project out this long was caused by waiting for custom built / ordered engine parts (pistons/rods etc)

at least for the engine part it shouldnt have taken that long. I'm sure anyone with that amount of money could get it done fast or at least faster. Its been over a year or two if I remember correctly since it was first started.

I think it's been longer than that. It was in progress back when I was a newb.

I wonder what happened? I'd love to see the finished result. Even in NY if I had massive amounts of money to spend I could probably get the whole thing done in around 2 months.

But the site lists it as a "success." Doesn't that mean it should be done, tested, and *** haulin'? Where are the new pics?? We need burnout/doughnut videos lol

You're in SoCal, ask Evosport (next time you go there) what the deal is.

I guess it's like a resume. I say "MBA Graduate, 2010" evosport says "Sleestack's car done 2020."
