BTW, for any Canadian model collector, the CLK-DTM (Team D2) 1:18 scale model by Maisto is now available at Zellers for only CDN$28.93 (approximately US$18.23). Zellers will throw in a 10% seniors' discount, if you qualify....(55 and over which is usally 65 in Canada).
Got one for my collection. Sure beats paying CDN$59.00 at the MB dealer's P&A.

I'm leaning towards keeping it and getting a SUV + slapping a deposit down on the new E-AMG. But not set in stone right now. Got a lot of other **** to deal with right now.

SUV and slapping a deposti down on the new E AMG! My friend at the dealer is also pushing me to put down a deposit on the new E W211 AMG when it comes out. He said that it should put out easily over 400+hp(don't have the final hp no yet)and that is suppose to be a killer sedan. Good choice though!

So MACH430 is asking why I would rather buy a factory tuned car with a four year/48k warranty VS. a pieced together non-AMG car that may, or may not have better performance and carries a one year warranty, as well as probably voiding other component warranties as I strip it and rebuild it in hopes of gaining or surpassing the AMG stock performance........yeah, I'll have to think about that a little more....ok, I've decided...no thanks, not for me.

A V12 is a V12, there is nothing like it. I have driven my fathers S600, and all I can say is... OH BABY!. I would take a CL600 over a CL55 any day, even if its not as fast... there is nothing like driving a car with a V12.

I am not Santa, (wish I had the resources) but I like to dream. Occasionally, dreams turn into reality...and then more dreams...
Came close to a new CL500 a few months ago, but dealer kept adding useless xtras and deal fell through.
So, for the forseeable future, I am going to drive merrily my CLK55 and dream of all the wonderful MG cars which are on the drawing board in Stuttgart.
