Door Panel Removal

Hey Guys,

I was working on my sound system today and I noticed that my diamond audio 2 way component wasnt working right. the tweeter works...so i know that power is getting to the crossovers, but the woofer isnt producing any sounds at all.....so i am assuming that something is loose between the crossover and the woofer. I think the audio shop put it in the door panel.....so to save a trip down i was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the door panel? so that i can do a quick check....thanks in advance

George

i printed, scanned and posted these WIS diagrams on another thread but i cant find the link so heres the diagrams again. theyre not the clearest but should give you a better idea. if you want you can PM me your address and i can mail the originals to you.

the wedge tool thats shown in the second scan (mb part #115 589 03 59 00) works great. you can get it from your dealer and i think its around $6 and makes it so much easier to pop those clips without breaking them

WIS stands for Workshop Information System... and its basically the same information that the less informed techs use as a reference guide when working on your car

and if you want your own copy, i think they are starting to sell it on ebay nowadays....
