That was my thinking, so they just add a premium for the carbon fiber. I talked to Renntech, well not actually talked, but traded emails and they say unless you buy the software they won't sell you the airbox. But when they did sell the airbox seperatly it went for $2490 a pop.

$500 plus tax like $514. If you go to a dealer around VA will cost like around $650 and sometimes $700
