Angel eye fog light install help

Ok, I finally got my Carlsson RS bumper resprayed and I have installed the angel eye fogs. Just one problem, the angel eyes wont turn on (fog lights do). I already checked all the fuses. I connected the angel eyes using the wires that connected to the side marker lights that were in the OEM bumper. I also have the inner small lights of the headlights removed, could this prevent the other lights from working too? There is no power in the wires.

ok, you guys must think I'm an idiot! The wiring is correct and I connected the wires directly to the angel eyes so there is no switch. I did turn the lights on when I checked as well. There is no power coming through the wires. I tried putting the inner lights back in and now those dont even turn on. I got my angel eyes off ebay.

I had to wire in a switch using the wiring supplied with the foglights in order to get the angel eyes to work properly. I tried several other ways and they all resulted in blown LED's and warranty replacements.

Are you guys still having problems with installing the angel eye fog lights? Are they worth it?

I didn't have a problem once I wired it to the included harness and ran a separate switch for the angel eye rings (the foglight portion is hooked up to the stock switch). My best guess is that the angel eye LED are sensitive and any voltage variance from how they were designed to work will quickly burn them out.

I got one side to work (angel eyes and both fogs work). I'm too lazy to get the other side to work. They are too dim in my opinion anyway.
