Thinking of selling 01 CLK 430

I'm seriously thinking of selling my 01 430, Silver/Gray. 65.000 miles in pristine condition. It has a rebuild title but looks, runs & drives like new. I would entertain first offer around $22,000.

2005 E55 silver
your gonna have a tough time selling it. Most banks won't finance a car that has an S title. Not sure what the percentage is... my brother couldn't get rid of his 95 bmw because of this reason. He only wanted 6K and the bank wouldn't finanace anyone. That was the reason he heard numerous times from interested buyers. Finally my parents paid cash for it and they are driving it now.

My bank will finance it & so will most banks when they see & inspect it. This car is in immaculate condition with no damage what so ever. My feeling is that the title was issued because of some insurance fraud because it has not been involved in any accidents. If I have to I'll take 20K for it.

It could also have been a stolen recovery. Good luck w the sale. Usual depreciation for a "rebuilt title" is about 40-50% of market price of a clean title version.

Yeap. I was about to buy a 2000 CLK 430 in Orlando with 47K miles with a rebuilt tittle because of a theft recovery. My bank would not touch it, but I found a credit union that would finance 10K. The car was being sold for 11K.
I found a clean 30K miles 320 and bought it instead.

Good luck with the sale.

Thank you.
I think the first person that see the car will buy it, it truly is immaculate & loaded incl. 18" AMG rims
