Suede Headliner

Thinking about doing a suede headliner and pillars in a light gray. Has any one had this done or thought about it?? Got a quote for 750. Possibly dynamatting the roof if there is room to do it.

I have also though about doing that but it is the last thing I will spend money on. I think it's one of those "I'll just blow some $$$ on the headliner" moves. I think it's hot though.

If I was just doing a-pillars and headliner, I would try to get the same material (alcantara) and color they put in the stock MBs that come that way.

Looks cool. Nice work. What's "dynamat"? Did you have to remove the velour or did you go over it? How does she smell?

How much under a grand? Also how many feet are in each box of dynamat? I found this stuff:

$14/Yd. I figure you'd only need 5Yds max?

Well i took it to an upholstrey shop to do the final work which was to put on the suede(acutal suede not microfiber) it cost $125 a yard. The guy said that it was probably about 3 1/2 yards of suede. Dynamat is a sound deadining material its mostly used because of my stereo but it definately helps keep the car quieter. It smells better than a brand new car now! I also got all my pillars done and here are some more pics of it and i thought ill throw in a few of my custom stereo set up!

Thanks for the compliments!
