2002 CLK430 audio help
I just traded my 99 in for a 2002 and the car has no cd changer and an "audio 10" head unit that will not play burned cds. I need my radio to be able to play burned cds, damnit. My questions are this:
Is there anyway to make it play a burned cd?
and if not:
Are all 2002 clk's wired with the fiber optic cd changer wire? I don't see one in the trunk but if its behind the panel then I will get it out to install a cd changer. I just don't want to rip the trunk apart if there is no wire behind the rug.
I appreciate any help you can give, thanks.

Thought: have someone else burn wma tunes onto CD and try it on your
Audio 10. just want you to eliminate one possibity of root cause. it may
be your burner/settings. I noted that you did not complain about commercially
recorded CDs so presume that those work properly.
