Wow, very nice! Looks very similar to mine, but I like this allot more! In the next few months I was thinking of upgrading, either a CLK55 W208 or 99 911 Porsche. Seemed hard to go back to a CLK w208 after already doing so much with my 430. But this gives me motivation to start a new w208 project! Great pics.

Here is my current 430.

Sorry for tha very very late answer...

I bought it on ebay.com (America) and it took a very long time shiping it to Germany. And then I had to realize that it's out of order...

So we changed just the inside of the cluster.

Response from NextLevelCustomz,

Thank you very much for your e-mail. The body kit you enquired for the CLK W208 is a custom made AMG style body kit which consists of the following:

-Front bumper
-Rear bumper with quad exhaust diffuser
-Side skirts
-Roof spoiler
-Custom widebody arches
Total investment: 2,183 USD EXCLUDING wheel spacers (700 USD) and paint work (for specified parts 640 USD ). Time required between 16 to 24 working days.

Best regards,

Aaron Goh

Comments?
I just got this answer to if it is possible to buy the kit without fitting.....

Hello John,

Thank you very much for your enquiry. Our body kit for the CLK W208 is custom made, as with most of the styling kits for our clients.

The AMG style body kit includes modification to all the fenders, front and rear. Wheel spacers were added to all four rims to bring them out to facilitate the widebody conversion.

We're currently receiving a lot of enquiries from overseas, mostly from the States and Japan. We have plans to mass produce this body kit if we continue to receive such interest. I will drop you an e-mail if this happens anytime soon.

Again, thank you for your interest in Next Level Customz.

Best regards,

Aaron Goh

4th of July Purchase Newbie

Just purchaced on the 4th of July. It appears I will need lots of help as the car needs work. First week and I already trashed the spoiler. Ironic that I've driven a 944 all my life and as soon as I move to a regular sedan, I bottom out. Body shop says the front end is aftermarket, so it will cost more to repair. Can anyone confirm that this is an aftermarket spoiler? I can't tell and probably wouldn't know the difference. Already unsatisfied with the cheapo aftermarket wheels, although they don't look too bad. Hope you guys can help. I've got lots of questions, squeaks, rattles, and misprogrammed electronics.

Thanks in advance,

Al

its an AMG bumper from the factory that comes stock on the clk430 and clk55....so its not aftermarket however it is an expensive bumper..somewhere around the $1000 range but you could usually find sum cheap on ebay or maybe from a member on here...

Updated pics

I'm gonna put in xenons and leds soon...it might be a lil while tho. They've come in the mail, but I have some work to do. Can't start for a month. But here's what she looks like as of now.

I'm also gonna try to put on some V8 badges w/ a cool black background instead of those buggy side blinkers.

Thank You

Thanks deyainrdy4ds. I thought it was a factory bumper, but I forgot that the body shop may have considered AMG as aftermarket. Sounds like a pretty costly fix. I've got another dumb question if anyone can help. Is there an easy way to figure out if the height of my car has been altered? Oh, one more. How do I post bigger pics onto the post?

Thanks guys!

I was thinking about doing the gray sidemarkers, but i have some black in the grill and the black hood badge and amg tint lights. I think if I do the black/chrome v8 badge instead of the buggy lights it will be nice. We'll see. I'll let you know.

I like this kit and the car but the lower AMG bumper needs a center grill and it needs some really aggressive wheels to match the body. But by far I think this is the best body kit I've seen.

Do they sell just the bumper? Or would it not even fit without the kit?
