Happy owner of '98 CLK 320
I like it when something about the car makes it stand out, the color of yours does exactly that, and after viewing your photographs for a little while, I understand why you like it. It actually is a very nice color.
What is the color called btw?

I, too, like the "distinctive" colors (though I really love the black on black). That may be the first metallic green CLK I've ever seen. I agree that it's a bit shocking at first, but the longer you look at it the nicer it gets.

Here's mine, in 'Amethyst Blue'. My wife bought it a long time before we got together. (Just a quick snapshot.)

She's an '02 CLK 200 Kompressor Avantgarde. Totally stock. Including the factory Navigation system, Xenon headlights and mild window tint. My wife now has a new '08 C300 Avantgarde Sport, so I drive the CLK a lot now.

here are a few more pics, washed, polished, and waxed. the location wasn't great, still trying to find a few better spots.

and a picture to capture the color, it's a designo mocha/espresso edition. pretty rare.

Just to keep the thread moving

Did a 6 hours detailing job today on the benz. I'm no professional detailer, but here's the result.

Washed with Waxco No Spot shampoo twice.
Meguiars clay and waxco no spot shampoo as lubricator
Meguiars cleaner wax, 2 coats
Meguiars quick detailer for windshield

I wanted to bring her out for a quick photoshoot, but unfortunately it rained right after i finished. oh well, i'll edit this post with full body shots tomorrow!

the driveway isn't fully shielded, so the car took a little splash from the downpour. God i love those water beads.

and one shot of the clk with the gtr for the hell of it

No, I got the bolt on kit. I have had it for almost three years now and have not had any problems.

CLK 320 the way i bought it + AMG wheels

here's mine with a big thanks to nastyclk for selling me his boring, old AMGs! compared to what he's cooking up with his car i'm sure they are "boring." i'm still trying to figure out the best and cheapest way to get the AMG body kit, although i kind of like how the car looks right now.

Look into the brabus add on kit for the 320. clk fan has the authentic I believe but you should look into getting the replica to that kit its nice
