Mercedes-Benz CLK320 MY2000
Here's my freshly purchased CLK 320 MY2000. Haven't really done much of anything to her yet, but right up there is the purchase of a set of fine rims.
Got it from a 72yr old man who owned it since it was 3 years old, 90.000 miles (150.000kms) on the clock as of now. Feels like the best deal i could ever get on a CLK in this price range!

I, too, like the "distinctive" colors (though I really love the black on black). That may be the first metallic green CLK I've ever seen. I agree that it's a bit shocking at first, but the longer you look at it the nicer it gets. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Here's mine, in 'Amethyst Blue'. My wife bought it a long time before we got together. (Just a quick snapshot.)

She's an '02 CLK 200 Kompressor Avantgarde. Totally stock. Including the factory Navigation system, Xenon headlights and mild window tint. My wife now has a new '08 C300 Avantgarde Sport, so I drive the CLK a lot now.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Some of ya'll might argue that that's somewhat of a chick color, but i Effin love it! It goes real well with the stock rims as well (those rims are great looking btw, i'd certainly give them a second look if money was tight for a set of fresh rims).

85K miles and is flawless. I bought a bumper to bumper warranty on it so at the slightest squeak, it goes in to the shop. My wife and I fight over who gets to drive it and the loser has to drive our W211 E-Class.

2003 CLK430 Cabrio, 2009 BMW 535 iX Wagon

A few, careful mods with the intent of retaining the original spirit:
- Wood steering wheel and shift knob (eBay)
- Non-smoker storage instead of ashtray (OEM)
- Daytime LED running lights (Ikea, modified)
- Removed badge on trunk lid (floss and polish)
- AMG pedals (eBay)
- Few brightwork accents:
- Red LEDs in mirror as ambient light (Fry's)
- LED bulbs in door lamps and glove box (eBay)
- Additional lights in trunk (OEM with LED bulbs)
- Cargo net (OEM for W210 wagon with custom mounting points)
- White side markers with chrome bulbs (eBay)
- Probably a dozen more minor improvements I do not recall right now...
