I am not here to defend anything...Just to show my car to fellow CLK freaks...I dont even sell it overseas since shipping is to big...Fitment is NEVER perfect on fan made kits...Here is a pic with no excuses,...It wont be better than this last pic i got.

Hi chrisbala, I just installed the chrome projectors and there is a lever in the housing to switch between LHD and RHD.

Just to be on the safe side I ordered a set of RHD projectors from Taiwan, they should be arriving sometime next week. How hard are they to fit, did you have to take off the front bumper - any pics?

I will post some pictures a little later today. It is very easy to remove and reinstall the bumper. It took me around 4 hours for the complete install of the projectors incl. new HID kit and the bumper removal.

cool, looking forward to seein the pics, out of the 4 hours you spent, how long did it take you just to remove and re install the bumper - is it a hard task or can it be done pretty easily?

It is easy..Dont be afraid to do it..It is like 6 screws ( 2 in front and 2 on each side)and just losen the black plastic cover in the bottom and it is loose.

tery, your car is looking as good as ever. Anyway, I have never been a fan of the cheese grater lights but now I have second thoughts after seeing your pics! Somehow, they looks great! I am going down to the local shop to check them out next week. They have sets from depo.

I will add an HID kit like you if I get them, so I have a few things to ask.

1) Are you using the original projectors and/or lenses or did you swap them out for true HID ones like the w210 guys?

2) Do you have a pic of the beam pattern? I am interested in how wide the beam is. Does it light up the street like OEM HIDs from BMW and porsche? I always find that their beam patterns are the widest.

I was quite easy and took around 30 minutes to remove and another 30 to fit.

Here are some pics for removing the bumper:

Just follow the pics, step by step. Remember to disconnect the fogs. and then you should be able to wiggle the bumper loose and pull it forward.

Good luck.

I did not modify anything from the projector headlight.
I purches a set of H7 HID kit from a local shop that only sell HID stuff, and wire everything up. Beam pattern is not as nice as the BMW one for sure. But its way better than the OEM one i think.
I will try to take some photo of the beam pattern if my car can fire up. I haven't drive it since last time i took pic and post them up here.
the projector can be adjust left right up down.

BTW ppl who wants to buy it, i think its a good project for your weekend.
I started thursday night after work and call in sick on friday moring.

Thanks man. Appreciate it. I'll try and find out what are the dimensions for the projectors so perhaps there will be a suitable one just for HID.

Wonder whether the tsx ones will fit.

After looking at these on a silver CLK like mine, I have defiently decided to get these. Doesnt look as bad as everyone says. I do need help on buying a HID kit. Have any suggestions? I had a phillips kit on my Lexus. I heard that was the best.
