w208 2000 CLK 320
2000 CLK320 White with Lite Blue Pearl on 20"s

Hello all,

I'm new here. I own a 2000 CLK 320.

I have 20" w/ spinners. Mostly I leave the spinners off, but they actually look pretty good with them on. One 15" sub, with a DVD double Din deck up front. All stock mids and highs.

Car is in the shop currently getting new Motor Mounts and 3 other major items done. One of them is when the car is in reverse, it vibrates pretty good, mechanic showed me under the car where something hits the gearbox, once the car is in reverse, so he is repairing that. I should get it back in one week from now and after the four major items are completed it should be about $1500 give or take. After that I will get the Transmission oil changed/oil changed and MAF replaced. I will do the MAF. This will be a couple of weeks after I get my car back.

Car color is Pearl White with a Light Blue Pearl, ground kit suffered a while back and was replaced but not painted, the left Sideskirt shook right off last week while I was driving on the freeway, it was storming hard, and wind super strong that nite, then boom, I looked in the side-mirror on my side and saw the Sideskirt explode off the car and down the freeway it went, and zoooom another Benz goes past me fast (4dr white). It was a kinda cool scene, but yeah I lost my sideskirt.

Thank you for taking a look.

Feedback please....

got my new 19" 235/35 8.5 35et, 265/30 9.5 35et with hub cent 15mm spacers in the back. its lowered 1.25-1.5 inches all around. it was all good before without spacers. after the spacers were fitted it started to rubs on the rear driverside. with 4 people and a full tank. it's a ok photo with the phone right after it was installed. should have better pix update with a nicer background.

since the front doesnt have any issues of rubbing i'll keep it the same 235/35/19. the back will be changed to 255/30/19, does anyone have feedback on these sizes who have tried the 255 in combination witht he 235 fronts?

Original in black or star grill.

The car looks awesome. I like the black grill the most.

I think the Silver grill looks better. It stands out more. Do you have the info from that place you got the bumper from?

Thanx!

I prefer the black by a long shot. Fits the rest of the car better.

Share the wealth - where'd you order that bumper??

My CLK...

About to change the rims, like these but as they are past their best knock offs, I have some BRABUS Monoblock III's to try, or sell on if they don't work!

3rd that- black keeps the lines and movement of the eye natural. The silver grill is very nice however, it causes the iris to change size and brain to focus too much on it and its design which naturally leads one into the (divine) 3 point star. but hell, i dont have either!! LOL very nice, well done mate!

PS how do you like the aftermarket lights?????
