just installed new rotors getting rubbing noise..
i just installed some brembo cross drilled rotors on front and rear.. and now i'm hearing like a slight rubbing noise on the rear drivers side.. i took off the wheel put it up and put the baby and neutral and turned the wheel myself to see if i could hear the noise and it seems there is a certain point in the revolution where the rotor rubs up against something.. would this mean the rotor is warped? should i just go back to rear stock rotors and see if this fixes the problem?

More info...did you back in the pistons? When you turn it, how difficult is to overcome the "high" point. How far did you test drive? It takes at least a good fifty miles to break in a completely new set of brakes too, just so you know. You can research on here and web, for different break-in techniques.

00 clk 320 and 3 hondas. Darn I am down to 4 cars.
Remove the brake disc and make sure there wasn't any debris between it and the hub. It sounds as if the disc is not seated flat against the hub.
I don't think it would be warped, but stranger things I have seen.

I don't think there's a prob, per se...you can remove, reseat and replace.. Before you put back on ensure it sits flat...I believe it probably has not seated fully when you first installed...hope this helps, let us know.
I had to re-edit, you state that it's not harder to pass through just rubbing...Clean with mineral spirits or other solvent, and fully clean the rotor surface area with alcohol.

ive seen this before, check the brake disc shield behind the disc. Its easy to bend it when putting a wheel on when u miss the hub and it falls on your rotor. Just push it back evenly its thin metal.

Sounds like the lateral runout is out of spec. It can happen on brand new quality rotors as well as cheap ones. Significantly over tightening ONE or TWO bolts can cause the problem on a perfectly good rotor. However, loosening the bolts allows the rotor to return to it's original shape. Since you've already tried turning the rotor without the wheel, and it still occurs, you've confirmed the rotor is bad. Or like George Clinton would say, it's crapadelic.

haven't tried to do anything yet haven't had the time.. i think i'm just gonna put the stock rotors back on the rear and see if that solves the problem..
