FYI-- decision on new car
last week a couple of you helped me work through some stuff re: a starmarked CLK... jsut wanted to let you know that I'm going to order a 2002 C230 on saturday... the BMW just wasn't doing it for me for some reason... probably the interior.

I noticed from your profile that you drive a 1992 Acura Integra GS.
I also had an Integra GS-R, which I traded in for a 6-speed Integra replacement: The new 2002 RSX-S w/200 hp, a fine car for $24 K!
When I feel the urge to shift, I drive this ricer.

my ricer retired itself monday afternoon....
Timing Belt: SNAP
SOUND: pistons whacking valves
SOUND: jeremy crying
SOUND: the rest of rush-hour traffic giving me the finger. I wish i could afford two cars...

W212 E63, Audi R8 4.2, Panamera S, Range Rover Sport GT
it's easy to fix those B17/18 engines. Just get the head redone for about 300 and install a new belt. You can take the head off easily yourself, there's only 10 head bolts on those.
