Check out my New Sub & intake on my 430
Hey guys,
I just added a 12" diamond audio sub to my clk-430. I'm powering it with my old Kicker zr-240 amp(363 watts). I think it turned out well and it sounds awesome!!!

While I'm at it here is a picture of my "home-made" cold air intake. I found parts here and there and made my own. The filter is right behind my fog light.

Performance gain???? not sure....but is sure sounds faster!!! It sounds awesome with the intake. Honestly if you add 10hp to 275 you would be very hard pressed to notice any difference other than sheer numbers. Can you really tell your car is now .1 faster to 60?? So it is really hard to say power wise, but like I said it sure sounds good!!!

It didn't take too long to make maybe 2 hours (this is the intake we are talking about right?). And yeah that is my wife hanging out hahaha
About the sub... I've always had 10's because they are normally tight and clean. But the 12 puts out a much deeper yet still tight sound. If you have a good sub then a 12 is all you need(for audio quality purposes, but if you like ghetto bass then hell get 4 12's). Diamond Audio makes another sub above the one I bought which is made of some composite material and one 10" will blow most 15's away and still have a much tighter sound.
