7000K or 8000K Lights?
Does anyone have these headlight bulbs installed on their car? Pros/Cons?
I currently am running 6000K for my headlights but was thinking about a bit of a change.

The basic scheme:
Yellow:
1500 k Candlelight
2700-2900 k Yellow painted fog halogen bulbs
-------------------------------
Yellowish white:
3200 k Sunrise/sunset
3200 k Premium H7 non painted halogen bulb
3400 k 1 hour from dusk/dawn
-------------------------------
White:
4100 k Philips/Osram OEM HID D2S
5500 k Bright sunny daylight around noon
----------------
Blueish white
5500-5600 k Electronic photo flash
6000 k Philips Ultinon HID D2S
6500-7500 k Overcast sky
-----------------
Blue:
9000-12000 k Blue sky
-----------------
Purple:
28000 Northern sky
12000-30000 k Ultra Violet light (black light)
---------------------------------
They would be mid-color blue if that's what you're going for.

ba9s l.e.d. bulbs. File down one of 2 posts so they will not crack the cheap plastic bulb base that MB gave us. If you don't want the "burned bulb" warning light everytime you turn on your lights, you'll have to install "load equalizers".
The bulbs from this company are so/so. I'm on my 2nd set of ba9's in a year and one burned out the other day. If anyone knows of a better quality place, let me know. I've been promoting this guys company for a couple years and he's not even said thanks, screw him.

8000K - 2800 lum.
Which explains your comment.

I replaced my stock xenons (4100k) with Philips Ultinons (6000k) several months back. Ultinons strike a good balance between light output and color, and are European made. I went with these because I'd heard bad things about the cheap Asain-made ultra-high color temp bulbs in terms of quality and light output. Sometimes I think these Ultinons are a little too blue, but overall I'm happy with them and would recommend them. Here's some pictures from the upgrade.

They take a little longer to get but are made better in my opinion, and last longer.
