Interior Squeaks
I know there are a lot of posts on here about this, but I can't seem to find an answer.
1. The rear deck rattle when the bass hits. Is this something I can fix, or can dealer fix?
2. The driver seat squeaks on the door side everytime I go over a bump or speed bump. It drives me crazy. I can't tell if it is plastic rubbing, or a metal spring, or something else. Is this something I can fix, or can the dealer fix?
I have an extended warranty, but it will not cover these items, so Im curious if anyone has had this type of work done at a dealer, and how much it cost?

(as far as the seat squeaking and what not, same thing happenes in my car. It's just because of the plastics and whatnot used for parts, not much you can do except use quitecar and make sure everything is lubed up nice)

I was gonna put some fussy velcro on the side of the drivers seat...but it is so tight between the fabric and the plastic...how does anyone fit anything in between there? I half wanna just take it to the dealer and let them fix it, but Im afraid of what they would charge for a velcro fix....

wat i did was use the material used to wrap those mdf boards when u do any installation for amps of subs.....cut them to the shape and just slide them in between the leather seat and the plastic thingy....results...no more squeeks

For the driver's seat, look under the seat from the back. See those white plastic tabs on either side? Cover them with felt and see if that helps. I covered just the top of them with felt but my squeaking was still there. Then I covered the ends/tips of them and now no more squeaking.
