I shaved down the LED in the city lights to make it fit thru the housing. I next changed out all the festoon bulbs to the LED in the interior of the car

trying to figure out how to do the dash, but it seems to be a bit more complicated with finding the right LED, i want to change it out to white, but i guess the beam pattern isnt that great.

if anyone knows or has done this....hook me up!

Do you have bulb numbers and where you picked them up from?

As far as the dash, it could be those tiny LEDs that most manufacturers use, which are a complete pain in the *** to change over. A guy I know in RI does this for people, but it's like a couple of hundred LEDs to swap out... not sure if that's the same thing with our cars though.

Pics of his car months ago (he's got like 15 TVs in there now )

Do you remember how many LED bulbs you need for the Instrument clusters? will the T10 led wedge base work? just plug and play or do we need to hook up some resistor due to the voltage difference?

vig, heres the list of bulb from the ebayer us home direct

1. 3 - 8 LED 44mm Festoon white - for the front dome and rear
2. 1 - 3 LED T10 Wedge White - for the map light, need to shave down the sides a little to get it to fit in the little map light housing
3. 4 - 6 LED 39mm Festoon White - 2 for the door and 2 for the license plate, and you may need 2 more if you want to change the vanity lights on top of the sunvisor, and one more if you want to change the glove box.
4. 2 - 4 LED Ba9s bayonet White - for the city lights, need to shave down on of the metal prolongs so it will fit into the socket. if you want to go with the 5-LED then it may fit in some clks, not mine, i shaved down the LED a little to get it in there.

Remember they come in pairs and to get the super white.

For the license plate you need to hook up in parallel 100ohm 10w ceramic resistor from radioshack = no defective lamp warning

For the city lights need to do the same with the resistor, from autoillumination, midgetfinger said to use the 15-25w resistor they sell on their site, i tried it and so far it works ...but this one has metal heat sinks soo it does get a little hot...so keep it away from everything

this is what your light bulbs look like inside your instrument panel http://replacement.autopartswarehous...0Bulb&dp=false they are clear bulbs the panel itself is colored amber so blue lights probably wont help

do those bulbs pop out of that plastic housing?

is the dash on the post2000 same as the pre2000? the dash looks white but your saying when back lite, it is actually amber colored? so trying to go with a pure white wont work?
