Number of w208 AMG Models Produced in 2002
Does anyone know how many clk55 amg's were produced in the w208's last year of production? (2002)
Also, does anyone know the ratio of cabrio 55's vs. coupe 55's of that year aswell?
Just curious how many MB made that year (in America and internationaly)
...wondering how "rare" my car really is.

E550 Coupe
it's on here somewhere...try doing a search. i remember there was someone that worked for MB who had the ability to pull the figures.
2002 wasn't the last year of production for the w208 either. in 2003 they made the CLK430 cabriolet

Thanks for the input. That confirms what ive been told by other people who are knowledgable about this sort of thing, 800 to 1,100 clk 55 coupe's made in 2002. =) I actually called mbusa and asked them to give me the exact number and they said it would be possible but they'd have to get back to me. So im hoping they call me back with that, but thank you.

FWIW, MB classifies cars as "Classic" after 20 years.

Exotic in the sence of low production #'s and high performance.
I know my view is slightly squewed due to where I live, in the last few weeks on the daily commute I have seen 4 different Gallardos and many different Ferraris on the road. The really rare was the TVR that got on the freeway in frount of me about two weeks ago.
I was thinking that as the numbers dwindle due to accidents and abuse our cars could become considered "exotic" not just classics as they already are,
though, once one was highly modified SC ETC... I think it is in the exotic catigory.
