I found this piece loose in my trunk. Everything is working fine, though. I guess its audio related, but couldnīt figure it out.
Any ideas?

Yugo mirror?
I'm pretty sure that's a rear view mirror - minus the glass, probably off of a sportbike - or maybe one of the fine vehicles produced in eastern europe during the mid 80's (Yugo?).

Guys.....
It's not an antennae, nor its a mirror from a bike or a Yugo... (I do wish it was a detonator, though)
It's smaller than a cigarrete pack, and thick about 1 cm.
The red thing is glue (peel off), for sticking it to something.
The silver entrance looks like a coaxial cable.
The black label with white letters reads: ESG/AMPS
Taking my car to service next week, so I'll ask if they know...
Meanwhile, if anybody has an idea of what this is, it would make me feel better .

Most likely you are right. Searching the web for ESG/AMPS brings up cel phone related pages.
Still wondering what was this thing doing loose in the trunk.
Anyway, anymore specefic would help. Perhaps I could use it?
