CLK 430 Coupe
What did the rest of you 19'' & 20'' guys do?

I put 19 x 8.5 rims all around on my 430 coupe and now it seems as though the inside of my rear tires are wearing out tremendously faster than any other part. I took it into my mechanic and he told me that the rear alignment has the ability to be adjusted, but not as much as I needed it to be. He also said that there was a kit I could purchase that would allow it to be adjusted further to eliminate this problem that i'm having.

What kit would help with this problem, and where could I get one?

or is there another solution? What did the rest of you 19'' & 20'' guys do?

I'm also considering lowering my car 1.4 in., will this make this problem worse or once I get this "kit" I can lower away with no worries?

You need a camber kit through either speedybnz or kmac. With the kit you can lower with no problems (camberwise)

Hold it. You're not lowered yet and still wearing out abnormally? That's odd.

Really? What could the problem be? I had it at the dealership 3 months ago and they didn't mention anything about it, could it be something minor?

Speedy has the instructions on the site... they're saying "3 hours", which I assume it means for someone mechanically inclined, with the right tools and a lift...

If you take it to your mechanic, I guess it would depend on how much he charges an hour for labor...
