Anybody have nitrous?
I'm thinking about getting a 50 or 75 shot of nitrous on my CLK. Anybody doen this before? I know the dangers already so dont bother preaching. If the engine blows it will be a great excuse for a 55 motor upgrade!

I was browsing through the site the other day and I came across a thread like yours. A guy had a question about nitrous as well and there were a lot of replies and comments about it but I forgot which section it was on, do a search and you'll come across something, goodluck!

^ LOL! I just read your thread and posted on it before I saw this. I'm definitely tuned in and cant wait to see the results! We think alike, we have alot of the same mods.

Hey BB,
For nitrous setup, you might want to look into Altered Atmosphere in MD. Good import shop that puts out really nice G35's and 350Z's. The owner I believe has a W211 E55 so they should be somewhat familiar with MB's, if not can refer you.
Can't wait to see what happens, gotta ask for a ride too.

Have you tested the nitrous yet? Im curious how a wet kit performs in our cars given that we have a dual-stage resonance intake manifold. I was leary to get a kit since the actuator in our intake manifolds changes the geometry of the intake runners above ~3000 RPM. I can't imagine the repair costs if there was a nitrous explosion in my manifold. Did they install an ignition retard device with the kit?
