Wanna Have a Good Time?

Michelin Pilot Sport Tires + Heavy Rains = Hydroplaning CLK

The car handles awesome in the dry, but keep it home in the wet.

W213 '17 E43 ///AMG - W211, W208 no more
100+ degrees is nowhere near the right time to go test drive cars.

Just imagine test driving a car for say, about 2 minutes, and coming back with your shirt COMPLETELY WET..... and then going back to do it all over again with another car....

Went to MB dealer to check out the W209 CLK and the new E. The E is nice, as for the W209, well, lets just say I'm glad I bought the 2002 W208 when I did.

We left with a new '03 C320 just for kicks... basic travel needs

Found the same to be true. The Bridgestone Protenza's are *much* better in the rain.
IMHO.

well, people have different opinion about the new CLK. Personally i like the exterior, but dislike the interior because the center console looks the same as the C-class. The acceleration is a bit slower for the 320 since the W209 is a little heavier, but the handling is much better than the W208 CLK320.

So, you got a C320? congrats

have test drive one too (clk320), and the W209 is definitely much improved over the W208. less roll and the car is more solid. compare to my sister's CLK320. the steering is more sharp.

Traitor! lol, j/k .

The W208 handles much better than a W209. The W209 handles like a golf cart.
