from your username I see you have a 2000 CLK so your connections are located in the trunk in the passenger side well. You will need to wires:
One for power
One orange fiber wire for sound

Just happened to have my trunk pulled apart, so here.
Pull out the trunk bottom panel(over your spare) then the passenger side rear panel. You may have to fish around to find these:
One is the fiberoptic cable and the other is power. You won't need to have it programmed if it is a compatible unit.

Providing you have the appropriate OEM changer, I don't think any programming is needed. In my 2001, the car immediately recognised my changer (bought used) as soon as it was plugged in correctly.

I see the fiber optic cable, but I can not find the wire for the power? where is the power wire coming from exactly, I looked all over and it is no where to be found...
Thanks
also yes it is compatible, the seller said it was pulled off a clk as well.

Changer power cable
what you may need to do is trace the wires back toward the fuse block (black plastic square box near seatback, passenger side) on mine it was folded back and taped to the harness by those relays and fuse box. I had to unfold are carefully thread the power cable around to the area where the changer would be installed.
It will be a two-wire power connector with a black plastic termination (like in the pictures previously posted) that isn't connected to anything. This is the power provision for the changer.

I can not find the power wire for this anywhere... i spent forever looking for it and nothing...
Can someone take a pic of exactly where the wire begins? a few pics maybe... I will PAYPAL you a few bucks if I get this hooked up.

get a bright light and look (and feel) around each bundle of wires in that quadrant.
unless you have some oddball, gray market vehicle, the twin lead has to be
there. you're just missing it for some reason. you're looking and feeling for
a terminated end (of the power cord) in which the plug is about the size of
two tic-tacs. p.s. be careful when handling the fiber cable! kink it, bend it
sharp, etc and you weaken the integrity of the fiber optic.

well, it is possible that previous owner damaged it and pulled it out. how about
looking lower? instead of looking carefully at every wire bundle, how about
thinking gravity and seeing if it is at the bottom of the wheel/fender recess area?
another useful took can be a tone generator: hook up tone to one end of the
harness....and perform a tone detect in the wheel well area. but the problem
here is that you dont have access to the 'other' end. it's not as if it is at the
head unit. i dont have access to the wiring schematic but obviously, it is tapped
into ALWAYS ON power supply; CD can be played with ignition off is the common
setting with MB.
nuther thought: orange fiber is also used for phone stuff but I cant imagine
they'd snake that to the opposite side of the CD. but if you dont have any
turkey to eat and the spare time, you can look at left (instead of right) rear.
if your car is US issue these cables were preinstalled at factory...and i under-
stand, left out for Euro models (requiring add-on overseas).
