which tires have a more rounded side wall
just for references which tires have a more round or stetched sidewall profile. reason being is that now that i have the new falken fk452 i am rubbing up front on the inside by the strut bolt since its more squared like the michellin ps2
old falken fk451 were perfect and very stretched, no rubbing at all.
how bout
Toyo TR-1 or TS-1?
Nitto NT555?
Falken Asenis?
Kuhmo?
Pirrelli?
Dunlops?
Anyone with any other tires, please chime in and let me know your experience with these or any other tires
Thanks
George

I never paid attention to the roundness of my tires. They are pretty
rounded at the top of the walls, though. I have the NT 555s and they seem
to work pretty descently. I will get Michelins next, but no complaints really
abouth the Nittos They're 18s.

good info so nittos are pretty round, my falken side wall angle towards the car, so the sides do not bow out as much, thus less rubbing for me

A 19x10 with a 265/30/19 works well because the tire will stretch a little and round off...but the only tire you don't want to use for this set-up is the BF Goodritch because the tire is just to wide with that aspect ratio ( 265/30/19 ) it just has a lot of rubber on the edges for some reason.
but on a 19x9.5 a 265/30/19 will box up or square up...if you are running a 19x9.5 wide wheel and want it to be round you should go with a 255/30/19 and use a 10mm spacer to make it flush to the fender.
these are personal experiences with my slammed W208 CLK...I finally figured it out and have 19x10's with the 265/30/19( Hankook Ventus )cheap tire but my camber is soo off that I don't care about buying cheap tires.
Hope this helps a little.

^ what kind of drop are you running?
I just got some Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx tires and they are pretty round on the edges. Alot rounder than my PS2's. I have 275's and they will be going on 19x10's as soon as the wheels arrive.

very nice clk HRECLK, my offset is already pretty aggressive, so no spacers needed, plus the only problem is finding the 255/30/19 for my lexion 19x9.5 rim et 38. The falkens dont come in that size, only ones i have found so far are the dunlops and contisport on tirerack.
also i have a camber kit, so my camber is pretty strait, set at -0.5 degree, so if its too squared up, it rubs the fenders, dont want to roll the fenders, just want to find a tire that works and avoid an extra step.
I was thinking 245/35/19 stretched over 9.5 rims would give me the answer i was looking for short of getting dunlops. I talked to the tireshop pple about stretching the 235 tires, so i wont waste them, but they said it might not air up.
I like how your car sits up front, unfortunately for me the carlsson RS kit is too low, that i put a 4 pad up front for a little more clearance.

Rubbing
I’m running 20x11 wheels in the rear with Nitto 305/30/20 G2 tires and I’m rubbing. I wonder if the 305/25/20 Hankooks would give me a better clearance. I’m running 255/30/20 Hankooks in the front and their side wall looks way shorter than the Nitto G2 in the back.
