Eisenmann Fitted....STINKY!

I had my Eisenmann Race installed this morning.....damn she sounds mean! I like but I can tell with the dramatic increase in cabin noise I might explore Dynamat in the back.....maybe not well see.

Here's my question.....Installed and I am smelling a heavy odor (not so much like exhaust) when I get out of the car after driving. Anyone else had this experience with new exhaust? Hoping it just goes away and isnt an installation problem.

when i took my resonator out i smelled a nasty burning smellfor a few days...any time there is welding on the exhaust im guessing there willbe a smellfor a week or so...

Thats normal for a new exhaust, I had a couple of new exhausts that had a funky smell, almost like somebody frying fish.

Yah that shouldn't be anything to worry about... had an odour before as well. It eventually disappears.

Yeah, the burning smell should last for less than a hundred mile. It's the new packing material inside the muffler. Don't worry about it.

I just put pics of my car w/ new eisenmann on the pic page; its the silver one. The guy did a great job putting it on...esp for $25! MMM's may look better w/ his tinted tails!

Are those BBS CH's? Let me know and send me a few side & c/u pics if you have some free time. And sorry the smell is gone as predicted by others so I'll be holding on to the exhaust. Get one....its pretty cool!
