fitting eisenmann exhaust...
just had mine delivered (finally)....
how much do i need to cut from my std (non amg) rear valence to clear the tail pipes?
other than that i assume it just bolts on?

how loud is the race setup... its what i went for?
the paperwork has "not legal for road use " written on it....
am i going to be really popular with the neighbours?

mine isnt that loud compared to other cars on the road with custom exhaust systems. i dont know why it says not legal, my paperwork didnt say anything like that, but arent you in the UK? maybe it is different there? i dont see how it possibly could be though. anyway, i would compare the sound on my CLK430 with the race setup to a stock C5 corvette. it rumbles, but i dont think it takes away from the class of a mercedes if you are worried about that. go to eisenhaus.com and listen to the sound clips and/or video clips they have. theres an M3 E46 with the race exhaust, i would say my car isnt quite that loud, but obviously much much lower with the V8.

not too worried about the noise... more concerned it wont scare the neigbours?
guess it wont be as loud as my 80 camaro with headers then?
how do you find the underdrive pulleys - are they worth $500?

im in college so i havent driven my car since they were installed, supposed to add about 13 HP, and if so its a good investment in my opinion. talk to ben (Mach430), he works for evosport, they make them.

I didnt paint the whole grill white, i left the chrome for now and painted the black grill part white. I have pictures sitting here two feet from me, but no freakin scanner, ill get some pictures up when i go home in october. sorry.

I see. It is similar to Bruce's silver grill. OK, I get it. No prob about the pics.

got it installed today... sounds great!
had to trim the bumper a little but other than that it went straight on...
got a real nascar rumble now......
i would have to recomment it to anyone thinking of changing the stock system
