Why would you sell your steering wheel airbag? Dont you have to reuse it with your new steering wheel?

Do you have your oyster wheel? Is it in good shape? Does it have steering wheel controls?

I think Marcus that posted the instructional for the W208 dash removal should get a Nobel prize, an Oscar, win a jillion dollar lottery, have a ticker tape parade, have his image displayed at the Vatican, should be Knighted, have a 21 gun salute,...whatever modding we do to our vehicles, pales in comparison to what Marcus has done for W208 owners everywhere. We are not worthy...we are not worthy...we are not worthy...

Now, if we can just learn how to take out the center console.

I'm just posting instructions, guys like you & acb3nz are the ones who have to do the real work. You guys "are" aware that I've never taken the dash out of my car, right? These are just cut n pastes from the WIS. Make sure and post back whether the instructions actually work.

Ashutt deserves this week's award. He's installing SpeedTuningUSA's ECU upgrade and reporting back whether it works or not. The last car I had chipped, I had TWO spare ECUs - just in case. He's flying without a net. And what about you Pancho? You've got nerves of steel. Suppose you had plugged that Carsoft equipped PC into your CLK and seen SMOKE?!?!

Here's the console docs.

The wording I saw about the impact strips seemed to indicate after the bumper was removed, the fasteners could be accessed from behind.

Sideskirts:
Per mtimmy in this thread;
side skirt are hold in place by clips under the frame., and 4 near to the door steps unscrew two screws from both the front and rear wheel... first., then use a little force to yank out the sideskirt,.”
