it was a local small tire shop that doesn't generally work on MBs and stuff. but they're good friends. I think its only like 8-12 bucks per kit (universal, not anything specific for this application) plus the labor of making it fit. They didn't have any problems. And it drives like it did w/ 17's and its lowered (the bilstein shocks helped quite a bit)

OK, install, aligning, camber kit, etc was $180. I dont know what it would cost at the places you guys take your cars. The wheels already had tires on them; just a switch, align, camber, and check up.

Sounds about the price of crash bolts and not the camber kit. Did he tell you what the camber finshed at?

Hook a thread up and find out what he used, where we on the "outside" might find it or order it from him.

For the front wheels, you ca use crash bolts or the K-Mac kit. Crash bolts will only give you about .75° adjustment which isn't enough in most cases to bring it back to stock. The K-Mac kit is not cheap but it's the only way to completely fix front camber. Their kits are available at http://www.k-mac.com/

As for the rear, there's a lot of solutions from cheap to not so cheap. There's a bunch of companies that sell adjustable rear bars for correcting camber. Speedybenz sells a pair of bars that are decent quality, a couple of ebay sellers sell cheaper bars of questionable quality, I stuck with House of Power's set of Trak Links (not cheap) that are extremely well made and as they are a set of 4 bars as opposed to 2, offer a much more complete amount of camber adjustability.

Properly aligning your car may seem like a lot of money but if you're going to keep the car for any amount of time (I've had mine for 7 years) you'll see how fast tires add up.

I got a quote for $280 installed on the K-Mac rear camber kit. I think the kit that Josh K has is better in quality though, since it utilizes 4 bars, and not only 2.

for the front, you can go with the crash bolts which will run you around 80 bucks =)

Thumbs up

Just a quick question. Not familiar with this car by any means. The car was lowered when I bought it and I haven't seen what was installed on it but I do need a camber kit. I want a good setup too. So, let me get this correct: buy a "K-Mac" kit to fix the front camber and for the rear I need to buy a set of "Trak Links". Where do I buy a set of "Trak Links" at? Is that the brand? Also, this might be a stupid question but I was told that the CLK320 had a adjustable camber already. Why coudln't I adjust that one? A local performance shop told me to get a alignment and come and see them so that they good adjust it. Does that sound right?

1/2 right.

K-Mac to adjust the front suspension and you can use my camber arms or "Trak Links". Not sure where to get those. I can assure you that the CLK320 does NOT have adjustable camber from the factory.

Must Read Article !!!! ************

*** Must Read Article Before Lowering Your Ride ***

I wish I have read this before lowered the car, I could have camber kit put in, now it's going to cost me extra to take the suspension aparts and put in the camber kit.
