5,000 dollars in mods
if you guys had 5,000 dollars to mod out your ride what would you get. I need some suggestions, I dont want to lower it for convience purposes. Is 5,000 enough to do anything good because I know how expensive these cars can be to modify. Thanks.

It really depends on what you want out of your car...
If you want more audio performance, then you can spend $5000 in that easily
If you are more concerned about appearance, you can get nice 19" rims, but that will probably offer similar inconveniences as lowering your car. just rims will set you back at LEAST 3,000
for me, with and extra $5,000 to spend on modding a stock clk.... i'd go with, underdrive pulley kit, eisenmann race exhaust, lorinser roof spoiler, nice set of 19s, paint the calipers red, and drop the car with either H&R with bilstein sport, or HR cupkit... and other various little things that won't cost much, but worth the change...
that'll set you back about $5,000

19s will raise your car about an inch. Putting 19s on a car that is not lowered, will end up making the car look a lot higher. If you are considering 19" wheels, you are probably going to want to lower your car. If H&R springs drop the car too much, find a used AMG suspension to make your car closer to the height it is now.

my thoughts exactly....
and yeah, the 19s will raise the height of your car because stock tires are already at 45/40 profile for 17s, with 19s you will be running 35/30 if staggered... any thinner, and you can kiss your rims goodbye...
or, swap out and get 18s, and retain same ride height....

alright I think I have got it...
19" AMG CL215 STYLE III 8.5 in the front 9.5 in the rear
evosport stage II lowering kit: Stage II: Sport Springs, Adjustable Dampners, Sway Bars (28mm Fr, 18mm Rr)
I like those two Lorinser aero pieces the window spoiler and the trunk lip
and an eisenmann racing exhaust.
Will there be any complications for any of these mods. What size tires should I get for the rims will they rub or fit alright? Also how much do you guys think installation will run?

don't worry about the rubbing... looks is what matters most. and plus, there is not a little fender rolling won't fix. i think the car with look real slick with that setup... go for it!

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
OK, my choice....
Wheels, obviously; muffler; F1 steering wheel, one of those cool V1 setups with the display in the mirror (anyone have one of these on a 208?), upgrade the bulbs, MB all weather mats, rings for the instrument cluster...that should about do it. Maybe a bit over in fact...

I think its a great investment for the price... for me, my only concern is that it voids the warranty.... there goes my extended warranty...
