so bein depressed over not being able to find a projector style i like (im not a fan of the "cheese graters"), i bbroke down and bought a conversion kit. its made by a company called RIKENSPORT. it works quite well too i went with the 8000k setup. its awesome, i love it. and it was soooooo easy to install!!!!
you simply just take the power wire where the h7 bulb goes into and plug it into a ballast and then there's a wire coming from the ballast that's connected to the bulb. you just put the bulb in the stock housing and turn on the lights!!! easy as pie.... i could never go back to halogen again after having HIDs.
i will post pics tommorow.it doesnt mess with the service light either. well my light comes on because i took out the bulbs for my city lights, as they dont match. anyone know how i can get around this? could i maybe just put the bulbs back in and just keep them out of the housing? maybe tuck them under the housing? any ideas anyone?

Rikensport
I looked at the Rikensport on Ebay, but I didn't get them because I wasn't sure that I could use the driving lights with them. I want that blue tint but my CLK is so so picky. She will let me know if that's not the right spot and I can't have anymore surgery on hereither

it works just fine with the those lights, but they're just different colors. its a blue light, but not too blue. it doesnt come out looking like civic. its tasteful. as soon *** the sun goes down some i will take pictures.

cool. I'm ready to install mine as soon as they come. Is the xenon light hotter or cooler than the stock bulbs? Do the Rikensports give you better night vision? Did you find a xenon driving light? where did you install the relay or balast box? ho[efully that might be my last questions........ Peace

those pics just show how it looks *on the car* would be better to show the
beam pattern on a wall....on the pavement....and spread on a dark street.
this gives folks the idea of how it performs and how the kit is calibrated to
the actual headlight lens.

Setserock, I installed the Rikensport lights and the CLK is "BANGIN". The lights improved the nighttime look of the car 10fold. The driviing lights look weak beside the xenons. I like the look.

I would definitely recommend the light to anyone looking for the conversion
