I don’t want to sound like a prude, but hold on a minute! I do a LOT of posting from the office. With these naked butt avitars I have to shut my office door, and if anyone wants to come into my office I have to leave the forum. Why? Because it looks like I'm at a stripper chat site. And it's not going to be any easier from home. When I'm at home I post from the laptop while sitting on the couch. The first time my wife glances over and sees all these naked bottoms, I’m going to hear about it. The occasional photo in a thread is one thing, but avitars? Cut a brother some slack and use ANYTHING else for the avitar.
Am I the only one with this problem? What do the rest of you guys do? Turn off pictures in IE?

While I do see your point, you must also concede that our avatars are not as bad as some of the others floating around the forum (not to mention some signature blocks). What would you propose as a happy medium?
I think I can come up with something that is both appealing to the eye

We'll just leave it up to your good judgment. If the wife complains, I'll tell her I already complained (due dilligence was performed). As for my co-workers, I've told them my office isn't a conference room and to get out.

Much better. Here's the thing: three days a week I'm at Paramount Pictures in a cube doing contract work. I've been on this gig for 10+ years. People walk by & look in my cube all the time. Big photos in threads are easy because I can scroll past them. If several people have avitars with butts hanging out, there is no way to escape. I can't have that on my screen when I'm at work here. My regular office, sure, throw the bums out. But not here.

The reason delivery addresses say Los Angeles is because "Hollywood" isn't a city. It's a region within Los Angeles. The "Mayor of Hollywood", the guy who appears at the parade, isn't really a mayor. It's a honorary title for a non-elected position.
When you come down here, you'll see my car is just another coupe. Regular Mercedes-Benz' are as common as chewing gum in a 7-11. The executive lot (the only lot of the seven parking lots with assigned parking) has the real eye candy. Amongst the daily drivers parked in that lot (it's the lot to the right of the Melrose gate at Windsor) there's a Bentley Continental GT, Porsche Turbo (997), several AMG vehicles, and an Aston Martin DB9. Occasionally there are Ferraris, but those aren't driven daily, and really don't stand out.
