clk430 color combos

2003 CLK430 cab
clk430 color combos
Hi all - I'm new to this board. I just put an order in for a black 2003 430 conv and am second guessing my choice of oyster & standard black birdseye interior. Any opinions??? I'm now driving a silver/light grey BMW and need a change! I have 10 days to mke a change, thanks for your help.

I have the same color combo and really like it. Very classy and understated. I thought I'd like the grey, but the Oyster is better.
Some have said that it gets dirty and dingy. True, but with regular maintenance (Lexol) it's just fine. If it get's really bad, you can have it freshened by a detailer and a bit of dye.

the oyster interior is actually very nice... just becareful entering and exiting the car... lots of people kick the door panel and leave scuff marks there all the time (easily removeable though)

Thanks - I'm going to stick with my original "gut feeling"! It's nice to hear from people who actually have these colors. Hope to get my car in Dec/Jan - can't wait!

Yea it gets dirty very easily but I love the color to much to really care. Just take care of it and you wont be dissapointed.

03 clk430 cab... pewter/ash/ash..k4 command blue-lit doorsills phone cd changer
i have the clk430 cab, 2003, with pewter exterior and ash gray leather..... everyone has really loved this combo... its not as bright as silver, and not a charcoal grey either... i think the boxster s had a color seal gray,,, but pewter is a little lighter still. good luck with your order!!.... the pewter is a 2003 color..
