BMW
You should use Mobil 1 synthetic oil 0W/40

Use either Bosch or NGK spark plugs.

I'm with Jessica on the oil - Mobil1 Synthetic 0W/40, and I would highly recommend a factory fleece filter.

When I did my plugs I bought them from the dealer. With the Mercedes Benz Club of America discount, they were $7.50 each. Bosch FR8DPP33 plugs, the Mercedes part number is 004-159-19-03-26.

I'd highly recommend using spark plug wire pullers. If the wires are not pulled by the boot, you may have to buy new wires as well.

IHTH

NGK Iridium spark plugs will do the job. I even got better gas mileaga after changing mine. Cost me about $100 for the 16 sparkplugs. Careful with hte wires...those are really expensive

Yes, I do use 0W/40 Mobil1, and I have 70K+. The last time I changed oil was January 5th, 8500 miles ago, and haven't had to add any since.

The motor mounts are 202-240-29-17.

I'm not sure if this is allowed, feel free to delete this if it isn't.

If anyone is interested, I have a line on bosch factory replacement plugs.

Normaly with the MB discount they are 7.50 a piece. I can get them to you for only 6.25 a plug. This equils exactly 100 dollars, plus shipping (under 8 dollars). If anyone is interested PM me please.
