i think he can only pull it off because hes got 2 hot *** girls in front of his ride. but im going to black my car out but i think the black projectors will sorta be overkill with the blackness. after seeing tery's black ride i was feeling the chrome ones.

I think it's always good to have SOME contrast in the colors... 100% black sounds nice in theory, but in real life it doesn't look as nice.

I have a black G35 sedan and I had the headlights painted black, but I left some of the chrome accents in there and I think the contrast is great. If I had gone all black, I don't think it would have looked as nice...

Before...

After...

I think the chrome ones might look better on my car because my grill is black and the all balck look kinda looks like it will wash out my front end and make it look a little cheesy or just not appealing to me. Those black lights look nicer on other colored cars or black cars that have a chrome grill.

Nope... my friend baked the lights and cracked them open, then painted the inside with matching body color paint. He then sealed them again and cooked them to harden the adhesive.

It's been about 2 months now and I haven't had any problems with condensation or anything of the sort. Very excellent job.

A couple of more shots...

i think they would look pretty sick on your ride instead of the silver one. because you've got the black wheels and the grill is black too it would look pretty sick.

I definitely think that the black projectors would look hot on your car. they would go nice with your black grille.

sorry if i missed it somewhere, but what size low beam bulb do the new projectors take? can we use our stock xenon bulb size on them or is it H7?

is it different sizes between the chrome proj (heard stock d2r fits on them) and the black proj (heard you need H7 on them).............??
