The mods that I have are not makind a significant difference like a supercharger would, but it does have a noticable difference. Plus, once I get the supercharger and headers thats when the mods I have now will make a big difference. The airbox I dont have any pics right now, but as soon as I get the chance I will post them.

the headers bring more hp benefits when in conjunction with other performance products.
but if its kleemann headers you're getting, consider having them hot jet or ceramic coated. i've seen many W211 owners cracked theirs.

Yea DropTop, definately look into that, I was gonna tell you about this, when getting your headers making sure you get them hot jet painted and I even think you can powder coat them can't you Acez? Or is Ceramic coated better? None the less man, Kleeman supercharger + Headers + all your other mods = WOW!

Droptop, I like the work and time you put into your Cab. Should be a blast to drive. I run an 03 Cab, its a great car that handles well while still retaining the MB solid feeling. When I feel the need for speed, I take my 2k C5 6 spd man roadster thats is extensively modified. It has electronic shocks with console switch allowing adjustability. They both have their own strenghts and weaknesses.

Nice cars. Each is fun in there own way. The thing with me is that I used to have a 211 55. After that, whatever I drove seemed slow. Thats why I wanna get my 208 supercharged. A couple days ago a friend called me and said he found a complete engine with harness and computer off a 04 CL 55 for a real good price. So im tryin to figure out if we will be able to drop that monster in my car. Tryin to figure out what needs to be done. If we can, then thats whats next. Heres the only pic I found of my AMG next to a Vanquish S.

I miss my E55. That thing was a monster. lol. I took the pic at Angelus Crest. The Vanquish was just passing by and he stopped just enough for me to snap a pic. I was following him down the mountain, I wanted to see what he would do when we hit the freeway, but he didnt wanna play.

CL 55's pack a M112 motor. Guess what? Same motor family as CLK 430. I would put money your 430 could fetch at least $ 3,000-4,500 with ECU. Totally do-able. I love blowers but weight is a penalty. Got a soft spot for cubic inches(55 motor). It fits MB style. Worth serious consideration.

lol my bad, I thought that Vanquish was yours, haha, baller status, none the less tho your E55 is CLEAN, is that midnight blue or black? I can't tell, but it looks hot, but if I were you DropTop, I'd wait for that Supercharger man, just to push it to it's limits, you'd be squeezing some serious juice.

The E55 was black. I got rid of that car 2 years ago. As far as my CLK, yeah I do wanna supercharge it, get some serious power out of it.

Thought that was the crest! LOL

The conversion is quite simple. We have done a few. Very worthwhile if you can get it for a good price.

Then you still have the option to blow on top of that and get 500ish rwp!

Thanks
Brad
