Need Help Changing Xenon Bulbs

Hi guys I have a right Xenon bulb that went out they are original that came with the car I have ordered replacements and am ready to change them. I did a search looking for some help on this it seems like there isn't much out there or any clear cut directions.

Can I take off the whole headlight without taking the bumper off? Or can it just easily be changed without having to do any of that?

You don't remove the headlamps to change the bulbs. Looking at the back of the passenger side headlamp - from under the hood.

There is a circular black plastic cover with a yellow warning sticker on it. Turn that cover a quarter turn counter clockwise to remove it. There is a Xenon headlamp ignition module held in place with three screws. Remove the screws and pull the module back. The bulb is plugged into that module. Remove the old bulb and plug in the new. Reassemble and you're done.

I recommend using rubber gloves because if oil from your skin gets on the new Xenon bulbs, they'll burn out in no time.

Competitive price for OEM D2S bulbs should be <$100 pair. 2x that at your
MB dealer. If you're at all picky about getting color match, you may want to
purchasing a pair, being sure to match manuf, model# and lot#. If you replace
single bulb, one will have aged more than the other and will have noticeable
color differential.
