since I'm moving back to midwest come next month, I need to get rid of some extra car stuff.... and I'll need some money to get a uhaul trailer for my Gixxer.

Anyway, I've got an AMG air intake with filters (no tubes, reuse the stock ones)...$260 + ship. I'd prefer local pick up in NYC (jersey city / hoboken area or meet up wherever).

I would have loved this... right price and you're local, but I have a 320 and can't use it.

 

Not to be a dick but this is not a good deal. You can by a new airbox minus the tubes for 200.00.

I thought it was ~360 and the tubes were 60 bucks? How much does the intake + cover run?

Anyway, consider the new price 200+ ship, which was my cost 2 months ago.

Oh i bought it off the forums used... I'm nearly certain that the box alone will run over 200 new

 

well the box goes for 200 new on that site posted.. how much does a cover go for like 50 bones?

 

I thought it was nearing 300 - that one site with the 15% discount had em for 360 (w/tubes) and the tubes were ~60 or something. There's a thread about it here somewhere.

 

cover is $80, tubes are $120 each I believe.

 

Honestly, is there that much difference in using an AMG airbox versus a 430 one? Will this install on a '00? email me with details, bmwg84@cs.com

It will install on a 2000 and it's a dyno proven 15-20 hp increase. I had one on my car before I supercharged it (it's already been sold though). The tubes are the most expensive part and are kind of necessary unless you like the "taped to secure" look.
