Cool Dang! I really could use some help!

So, i just took my clk 320 to the shop and had both head lights replaced and new crossdrilled roaters and ceramic pads put on ($1200 total). And about 2 months ago i replaced the tranny with a brand new one ($5000) also new engine gaskets($500), new power steering($500), new steering dampener($40), new oil cooler and filler spicket($350), New pullys and fluid damperner($750), new motor mounts($200), and new H&R springs and koni yellows ($1100), and AMG monoblock staggared 18"rims&tires($3,800) Thats $13,940 in about 2 months, and everything is supposed to be butter, but yesterday when i finally leave the shop i hear this bed spring squeak coming from under the car!!! I am pretty sure that it is the ball joints, but i really dont want to pay anymore money to get them fixed. Can anyone tell me how to replace them (upper and lower, front and rear,++i dont know if its front or back++). Please!!! please! Please! I am going to lose my mind if i have to take this thing back to the shop. My mechanic is gettin rich off me!

Damn son! Dropping a helluva lot of cash on your ride. You win the lottery recently? As for ball joints, they can be a bit tricky, but having the right tools can make all the difference. Check out the attached article and then you can decide if you want to DIY or take it to your indy.

Cool

Are you sure that it's the ball joints?
I would check to make sure that the new springs are seated properly and the pads are in fully? If the pads are cockeyed or the spring is not sitting in it's 'pocket', it could cause a pretty annoying squeak.

Not for me!! If it costs over $1k it doesn't happen (unless it involves EXTREME performance or wheels/tires). Even if its the transmission.
