Is this Tail Too Much?

Is this Tail Too Much? I've been toying with the idea to somehow make this tail work with my car because it kinda looks sexy to me but you have to ignore the car it's on.

deyainrdy4ds...this what I was talking about when I said I wanted something that sloped over the trunk hanging behind it.

What do you guys think? I think I can make it work with a little elbow grease and some help from my guys I have work on my car. The width on this trunk is about the same as ours.

We talked a while back about getting the right tail on the other forum.

The rest of the car is not what I wwant...just the tail.

I would just like to see what it looks like in person so I could make my own assesment.

Not feeling that rear bumper but I like the spoiler alot! I like those newer AMG spoiler package better IMO then the deck lips.

Looks sporty and stylish. Adds a good blend of both. Very tasteful.

by TAIL are u refferin to the rear bumper + spoiler? ...cuz im not really feelin that rear bumper..too boxy and just doesnt seem to suit the car and would probably be the same for a CLK....the spoiler on the other hand i always liked...

Spoiler only...nothing else on the car, no bumpers or body kit ect... just the trunk spoiler.

No, I don't like it on that car (haha, had to do it)

I like those spoilers too. Looks like you're talkin about the kind similar to a saleen mustang spoiler. I like the rounded coupe-y style of the clk tho. haven't seen any spoilers that i thought helped it out. I think that kind would look nice w/ the dtm kit tho.

I think I'm just getting bored with my car. I to like the natural rounded *** of our cars but this trunk spoiler is looking very cool.

Hey CLK FAN, do you roll with your fog lights on or off and I'm curious, do you have an AMG badge on the back of your car by any chance?

If so, I seen someone late at night awhile back on the 710 that looked exactly like your ride.

I like it, alot actually. Our cars a little wider than that one so I personally think that it will look really nice. I say go for it and if you do put pics up so we can see.

I will post pics if I go with that set up. But right now I have my guys down the street enticing me to do this custom tail that is much smaller but hangs over the back of the trunk like a 1998 Saleen. It looks amazing, all he has to do is trim some edges off of it and I think it will look really nice and sexy like. I wish I had pics to show but I don't. And the best part is that it will only cost $100 installed.
