I am interested in hearing from anyone who has actually bought an after market sports grille for w W208 with the centre star and found the product to be of good quality. Any advice regarding where to purchase one would be most welcome. please also let me know of any bad experiences. Thanks.

I have the SHATZ grill with the big star in the middle. I used it for 3 months and have now taken it off because I am going to paint my whole grill black. I saw a couple cars like that and I am going to do the same. it is in perfect shape. I bought it for 275 and will sell it to you for 100 plus shipping if you want it.
I have a 106 positive rating on Ebay and some people on this forum can vouch for me as well. I can send you pictures as well. Well, just let me know.

vouched...he bought an airbox from me and also helped us TREMENDOUSLY :-D with our group buy from eisenmann by picking up every exhaust (10 or so) and shipping them from Germany to the US while he was stationed there. He's a great guy.

hey greg two things....what branch? and man are you lucky to have been in germany lol oh btw you painting yoursef or taking to a shop.....i ask because you can buy those little spray things and you attach it to the can and you are good to go

I have been in the Army for 15 years now so just been in a little while. I was in Germany for 6 years and to be honest man I really really enjoyed it.
I just took it to a shop and the guy stated that he would not paint it because it was chrome and that it would peel off quickly. So I am going to go to another shop and see what they can do for me. Hell I will sand it down myself and then take it to get painted if I have to.
What spray thing are you talking about? If I can do it myself and save 100 bucks then I will do that...if it will come out good that is!!
