Evosport Under drive pulley kit
I am interested in buying an Evosport Under drive pulley kit for my 2002 clk430 with 41k miles, but first wanted to know peoples views on it. Is there any negatives in having one on your car(harm to engine, over heating, etc.)?

I have them and I love them... No issues at all and I have had them on for about 50,000 miles...

did you get the kit for the performance minded driver or the kit which lightens the load on the alternator which would be better for aftermarket amps and subs?

Evosport's website makes a distinction between the two - i was wondering what it was if any.

I think you have it mixed up. The one for audiophiles doesnt underdrive the alternator whereas the performance one does.

Do you actually feel the gains it puts out. I know they say 12 hp but is that to the wheels or crank?
