2000 CLK430
Clear Bra
Hey I'm a long time benz fan and just recently upgraded from my big S-Class to a 2000 CLK430 and i love it to death. but i hate the clear bra thats on it. the previous owner had it installed about 4-5 months ago and I'd i really like to take it off but i didn't know if it was going to be more trouble than its worth. is it going to leave residue on the hood, and if so can it be cleaned easily. seeing how as its not to old im not worried about fading, and with a buff job coming us courties of the idiots who redid the roof at work and covered all the cars in the lot with over spray i was thinking this may be a good time to peel it off.

A clear bra, like Speed Lingerie sells, is clear plastic that lays right on the paint. Envision window tint, clear window tint, on the paint.
Now, picture years of heat, cold, UV rays, & big bottomed girlies all pressing that plastic against the paint. OK, now stop thinking about the girls and think about trying to remove the platic and what the paint will look like when you're done. Yup. That's the problem.
