235/35/19 ------ Tire rubbing!?!?! anyone else?

When the wheel is turned all the way out, like for a U-turn.. it rubs against the dirt/dust cover thing inside the wheel well.. anyone else have this issue? I thought it was OK to run this tire size on 19s in the front.

offset may be off? i run a 8.5 in the front and 235 with a very square side wall profile will rub my suspension arm bolt, on my other set of rims, they are 19x8 and 235 round or squre edge profile works fine.

Mine is pretty noticeable.. noise is embarassing. fronts are 8.5", offset may be off, the wheels buldge from the fenders a bit.. otherwise it's okay..

s.f.clk02, what do you rub against?

sounds like you are rubbing your fender if the wheels are bulging..maybe the inside wheel well as well...are you using the new Falken GRB 452? or Michellin? since those are soo square and beefy they rub for me. Park your car and turn the wheel completely and see if it touches the fender. you might need to change out your tires to 225 or roll your fenders.

If it rubs the inside, get spacers...if it rubs on the outside, smaller tires or rolled fenders are your only option.

I have the same problem..... using 19 BBS LMs with a 32 offset with AVS tires..... After the fender roll, it doesn't rub as much but it does rub on the inside when going up steep ramps...... this is probably because the front setup is way too aggressive ....... I have 0 clearance between the fender and tires

I have been told the toyo tires would be a better tires to use for this sort of problems..... will try that next.....

toyo T1-R's work great, and so do the Nitto 555's.
