my car is wrecked!
i was driving on the 405 south and getting on the 101 south (Los ANgeles) off ramp when some POS black explorer cuts me off from the 101 North off ramp...i slammed on my brakes but he still hit my passenger side fender and front bumper causing me to hit the car on my left (black montero) and forcing him into the barracades..my car spun out and ended up facing the direction of traffic...my whole front end in smashed in....suspension seemed to be ok...damage on front end and passenger side fender only...engine will not start...hood is up about half way into windshield...i must have spun about twice...luckily traffic behind me stopped and my car did not flip over...i took pics wit a one time use camera and will post once i get them developed...the part that pisses me off most is that the car that cut me off and hit me...DROVE OFF!!! i didnt get a license plate number or anything...ill keep everyone posted...my back, neck and whole body is sore...my thumb is cut up and bruised...ill live though...but I will find out monday if my car is considered totaled or not...ill try and keep everyone updated...

omg that sounds dreadful.
Hopefully you will not have long term injuries, make sure you get checked thoroughly in case of later insurance claims.
I know some people panic when involved in accidents, but it still sucks when people flee the scene.

definately, man the car not starting due to the cps must have been a sign or something...u never know...(to update people my car did not start before this accident due to a bad cps...i waited 10mins and tried again and it started...)

too bad you couldnt turn right into him after you were hit and flip his dumb explorer over...then he wouldnt be able to get away, damage was already done...why not? then the montero would be safe and they guy who hit you will be there...or dead...hind sight is 20/20

I wasnt even thinking about that at the moment...lol but would have been a good idea...his impact though forced my car into the next lane into the montero...i have to wait 8-10 days for the police report to be released until anything can happen...

Damn that sucks bro!! Hit n' Run maybe? I had the SAME happen to me in a different car couple months ago, couldn't get the guys plates but damage wasn't bad as the way you put it. Yours was on the freeway! 
Glad your safe now tho, cars can be replaced but lives can't.

turns out theres a 90% chance it is totaled... i gotta wait till weds to see how much they wanna give me for it...also imma ask if i can take out my amp and rims...when i went to the tow company they said i can take anything off without using tools so i just disconnected my subs, but my amp and radio need tools...i was thinking a 55 or something...we will see...i wanna get my mom a new car first...she hates her mini cooper she wants an ml...

You can hide a screwdriver and unhook your amp and take it. When my dad's car was totalled, the tow company told me the same thing but I used a screwdriver to unscrew the cd changer and a plier to snip the wire. They're not going to watch what your doing.

i kind of figured it would be a total loss, my buddy also got in an accident in his clk430 and the insurance company refused to fix and made it a total loss. I guess to total the clk and sell it at an auction is cheaper for the insurance companies then to fix it. Just be aware due to the low resale value on the clk's now, the insurance company is going to lowball you bad...

Damn, that sux. I hope that they don't low ball you too much and you can get something out of it. What about bodily injury, do you get anything for that?? Are you feeling any better since the accident? Any word on if witnesses caught the plates of the ******* that took off? Curious to see what the pics look like.
