SO i came up on these fine lookin girls, and i was wondering...
how the hell am i gonna make this work i have a 01 CLK
i read they have different bolts, CLK - 12x1.5 and that these
are 14x1.5 , just wondering if anyones done this before or dealt
with something like this before i go ahead and start tearing **** up lol..

you can always order a custom bolt size from a wheel/tire shop. sounds like you need to take the stock wheel off and put the others on and see if there are enough threads. something like 3 full turns is usually enough. I believe you'll need to worry more about offset and spacers than bolts though.

so i fited them today and surely the back rubbed the bolts fit but im not happy about the amount of turns i got in it. i dont want my wheels flying off their 19x9.5 in thet back and 19x8.5 in the front, any suggestions on spacer sizes and the offset?

Look at the wheels, figure out what their offsets are.

I believe you want to be as close as possible to about 32MM up front and probably between 30 and 35mm in the back? Probably more like 35.

So if the current offset is 41mm up front for example, you'd want something like a 9mm spacer of thereabouts.

SOmeone with more experience could guide you better. But that's the basic idea I believe.


I think those wheels have a 140 part number i.e. they came from the S-Class so the offset should be in the 40s.

well i know of only one shop around that specializes in installing wheels , other than that one i dont kknow, anyone know any shops around in san francisco? south san francisco or the bay area?

Get 15mm spacers and longer bolts from S/CL. Thats all you need

yea dont take your rims to any of those wheel works type peoples. i took my rims to wheel works and they had no idea how to put the rims on they told me that they dont fit there for the wrong car. so i took it to this spot called rolling thunder in san fran. in the mission area. they have almost everything in stock there so im pretty sure they will take care of you and they arent expesive either.

I did it , i ran the 19" AMGs with S class offset for a week or so on my CLK.

the S class tires will never work, (RUBs in the the front)

I used 10mm spacers and coverted from lug bolts, to STUDS with Lug Nuts wich use/match the correct 19mm Conical nuts...

Your STOCK 17mm conical lugbolts would not match correctly to the wheels..

Any tire shop can get the stud conversion..i paid like 50 bucks for my set at a local tire shop in Orange County.

My cousin just HAD to have the 19"AMGs for his benz.. so I sold them.
