it's kinda cool. the car definitely looks sweet, and the taillights are nice (need a better pic of the back tho). I think the blue tint would look better if it was a little less blue and a little more transparent. i wanna see it with the stock grill tho! I think it'll look even better

These cars need dual exhaust.... :p

Around here those blue covers would get you a roadside meet-and-greet in not time at all. It's an interesting look. How does the blue hue affect night vision? I found that some eBay blue bulbs I tested on a motorcycle some years back (just for kicks) made it almost impossible to see at night in wet conditions.. my eyes were struggling to find focus and I started to wonder if I was having a stroke!

BTW.. what sort of suspension mods have you executed? I like the way it looks.. I feel like I am drivin a 4x4 in comparison!

I was surprised in that the blue doesnt effect the light output that much, the car has factory zenons so if anything they just look bluer and there isnt much of a noticeable loss in light output...That is stock suspension....I want to lower it but I have a lip in my driveway and If i lowered it , my car would bottom out pulling in and out....sucks....Also , they arent covers..its actually painted on

i would go with the stock grill, i am planning on doing something with the stock grill this weekend, paint out the front bumper side ambers to match the body, and i would paint the lights and fogs with a more neutral color, but that is just my opinion, if you like it and it has grown on you , then rock it.

+1 on that...i dont think i really like it but i think if you had made it less blue ...kinda like the same color as your slight window tint, it coulda looked okay.....

also, you should change out your rear spring pads for something smaller i think...the back looks high compared to the front...esp when lookin at the front and rear bumper cuz u have the lorinser in front and stock in rear...

n i think the star grille is good with the lorinser bumper...id hafta see how stock looks with a lorinser bumper tho so not sure....and thats not bcuz of a bias cuz i have a star grille lol..i actually just sold it and am goin starless...lol...

u said ur paintin ur rims? wut u doin to them?

and where were those pics at??? looks like you could have sum funnnnnnn on that strip..

Happy owner of '98 CLK 320
great photos, clear and crisp.
I am wondering too, if you will not be too troubled by being pulled over time after time. You might not get fined, but it can get to be very irritating none the less. The colour scheme is good, but I support the ones saying that the headlights should be a little less tinted (or perhaps your windows more tinted).
Definatly a unique look though

Yah true, it prob will get annoying get pulled over...I think when i go back to the shop in 2 weeks..the blue is comin off and I might just have him tint the headlights and fogs a light black, just smoke them a lil bit...And the rims will be black too so I might just tint all the windows black too....lol. After that though , I am done sinkin $ into the car. I luv the car but It might be time for sumtin new...Ive been lookin at 911's, might make the jump to a Porsche..Nuttin too crazy, only wanna spend about 45-48 tops...
